Our mission is to facilitate the advancement of commerce, tourism and community interests in Brighton, Cramahe and surrounding areas.

Bobbi Wright was born and raised in the Brighton area and is proud to be an ENSS Dragon. With many years’ experience in customer service and managing offices in the Mississauga and Milton areas, Bobbi returned to Brighton to take over The Birdhouse Nature Store which now boasts a Main St. address. Also a children’s author, “The Princess and The Whale”, Bobbi brings a wealth of wisdom and experience her entrepreneurial game. When able, she loves to travel, in particular to France where she hopes to return to when the world opens up. Bobbi has stepped down from her role as President, to run for COUNCIL! Look out for Bobbi in the 2022 Municipal Election.

Jeff Lay began his career as partner at Wilkinson in 2005. A graduate of the University of Western, Jeff is also a former Olympic rowing champion who took home the silver medal at the 1996 Olympics and gold at the 1993 world championships. Jeff is an absolute asset to the Chamber (pun intended!) His experience with teamwork is what helps the Chamber work as a well-oiled machine. “Rowing is the ultimate team sport. You are in a boat with four people, if one person is slightly off - if you are not in perfect harmony - you can lose. That sort of approach is very important to me. Working together as a team you can accomplish a lot more than if you just focus on yourself.

Mario Guzman is an Investment Advisor with RBC Dominion Securities, a division of RBC Wealth Management. Mario has spent the last 15 years working with clients in various communities manage their finances and realize their goals and dreams. Raised in Ottawa, Ontario, he met his wife who was from Colborne at the University of Ottawa. They permanently relocated to Brighton in 2013 and have been here ever since. Mario volunteers his time with various organizations throughout the community and coaches both of his boys in various sports throughout the Northumberland and Quinte region. Mario is proud to serve as President of the Chamber of Commerce and knows how vital organizations like these are to the local community.

Dr. Amanda Mei graduated as a Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) in 2013 from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College and is certified in Contemporary Medical Acupuncture. When not working, Amanda loves to enjoy all the area has to offer. In the summers, she can be found at the beaches of Presqu'ile and Sandbanks. In winter, she likes to hike all the trails in the region. A big supporter of small business, Amanda will frequent locally owned restaurants and shops. She loves live music and often attends concerts as well as dabbles as a singer in a garage band. Around the house, Amanda enjoys gardening, reading mystery novels and cooking up a storm with her partner, Geoff. Amanda loves connecting and building relationships with people and feels extremely fortunate that she lives and works in a region where building a relationship with the community is so highly valued

Faith Pickles is a small business banker with RBC Brighton. She comes from a long line of entrepreneurs, and has enjoyed being a part of the vibrant small business landscape in Brighton-Cramahe. Outside of her work, Faith spends her time experimenting in the kitchen and training her dog, Sully.

Hello, my name is Kristen Fletcher. My husband and I are born and raised in the Brighton area and are thankful to raise our daughter here. I am an Insurance Broker with McDougall Insurance and have worked my entire career out of the Brighton office. I enjoy volunteering to support our Community and is why I am proud to be part of the Chamber of Commerce. On my personal time I enjoy yoga and spending time with family and friends.

Laura Turney

Laura was born and raised in Colborne. In fact, her family is from the long line of Turney’s that originally came to Cramahe in the late 1700’s alongside the Keeler family! Brighton and Cramahe Township still have her heart, which is why she moved back after completing her Bachelors of Business Administration at St. Lawrence College in Kingston. She spends her free time in her crochet studio, sipping lattes on her parent’s front deck, and powering through home-reno’s with her Fiancé. Laura is excited to be a new member of the Brighton-Cramahe Chamber team.
